Jamf Pro vs Addigy
List pricing, per-device cost once the units are levelled, operational load and the capabilities where the two are scored differently. Every figure carries its source.
The short answer
Addigy's audited business rate is $8.25 per device per month against Jamf Pro's $7.89, which makes Addigy the more expensive of the two at list - the opposite of what most buyers assume. Addigy's case is shape rather than price: it is multi-tenant, built for running many separate estates from one login, with live terminal and remote control included. Jamf is built for depth inside a single estate, and on Apple integration, the scored matrix puts Jamf Pro at 16 of 16 against Addigy's 10. Addigy requires 50 devices minimum against Jamf's 25. Choose Addigy if you are a managed service provider or must keep legally separate estates apart; choose Jamf Pro for one large in-house Apple fleet.

Which to choose
Choose Jamf Pro if
Organisations where Mac and iOS are first-class platforms and Apple feature parity on release day matters.
Strengths
- Support for new Apple OS features on release day rather than a quarter later
- 300+ integrations and a documented full API
- Terraform infrastructure-as-code and GitOps workflows
- CIS benchmarks natively, generally available
- The largest consultant, community and hiring pool of any platform here
Trade-offs
- 25-device minimum
- Endpoint protection (Jamf Protect) and identity (Jamf Connect) are separate SKUs

Choose Addigy if
Managed service providers, and organisations that must keep several legally separate estates apart.
Strengths
- Multi-tenant console - many client estates behind one login
- Live terminal and remote control included rather than add-ons
- CIS and NIST benchmark tooling
- Typical deployment of two to six weeks
Trade-offs
- 50-device minimum, the highest of the six
- Apple only
- Scores 1 of 2 on Declarative Device Management in this model, where the Apple-first rivals score 2
Questions people ask about Jamf Pro and Addigy
- Is Jamf Pro cheaper than Addigy?
- Jamf Pro is the cheaper of the two on list price, at $7.89 per device per month against $8.25 per device per month. Normalised to a per-device figure at 1.2 devices per user, that is $7.89 against $8.25 per device per month, a gap of about 4%. These are vendor list prices current to 2026, not quotes: licence cost is only one line of total cost of ownership, and implementation, add-on SKUs and IT labour routinely move the ranking.
- Can you move from Jamf Pro to Addigy without wiping the devices?
- Yes, on Apple platforms from the iOS 26, iPadOS 26 and macOS 26 generation onward. Apple shipped a no-wipe MDM-to-MDM migration path, and the on-device experience is a restart on mobile or a full-screen prompt on Mac, with no factory reset. Three conditions bound it: the devices must be organisation-owned and enrolled through Automated Device Enrolment on version 26 or later; it is vendor-to-vendor only, so it does not work into or out of Apple Business's own built-in management; and configurations and policies do not carry across automatically - only enrolment moves, and optionally apps. Devices older than the 26 generation still have to be re-enrolled.
- Jamf Pro or Addigy - which should we choose?
- Jamf Pro fits best where organisations where Mac and iOS are first-class platforms and Apple feature parity on release day matters. Addigy fits best where managed service providers, and organisations that must keep several legally separate estates apart. This model does not name a single winner, because the answer depends on which evaluation pillars matter to you and on what you already pay for elsewhere.
