What we collect, and what we do with it

Last updated 6 September 2026 · Amaris Consulting, a Mantu brand

The short version

You can use every calculator on this site without giving us anything. Nothing you type into a calculator is sent to us unless you choose to submit a form: the model runs in your browser, and your inputs stay in it.

We ask for contact details in three places only: to email you a report, to book a conversation, or to unlock the full executive report. Each is optional and each is marked.

What we collect

  • Details you enter in a form: your name, work email, company and, if you choose to provide it, a phone number and a message.
  • Your calculation, but only if you tick the box: fleet size, selected vendor, timeframe and the resulting figures, so the person who calls you already knows what you modelled. Untick it and we store the enquiry without the numbers.
  • Anonymous usage events: which page was viewed, which step of the wizard was reached, whether a report was exported. These carry no name or email, and fleet sizes and money figures are recorded only as broad bands (for example "1000–9999 devices"), never as your exact numbers.
  • If you email a report: the recipient address you enter, the send time, and whether the email was opened. The email contains a single-pixel image used for that purpose.

What happens after you give us your details

This calculator exists to start conversations. If you submit a form, an Amaris consultant will follow up about your results and about whether we can help. That is the point of it, and we would rather say so here than let you find out by email.

You can stop it at any time. Reply to any message, use the unsubscribe link, or write to privacy@amaris.com, and we will remove you and not contact you again.

What we will not do:

  • Sell your details, or pass them to anyone outside Amaris and Mantu.
  • Run advertising cookies, third-party trackers or data brokers on this site.
  • Contact you at all if you only used a calculator and never submitted a form.

Why we are allowed to hold it

For enquiries and bookings, the basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry. To be plain about what this tool is: it exists to start conversations, so if you give us your details an Amaris consultant may contact you about your results and about how we could help. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will. For anonymous usage events, the basis is legitimate interest in understanding which parts of the tool are useful, and the data cannot identify you.

If someone sends a report to your address and you did not ask for it, tell us at privacy@amaris.com and we will delete the record.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and bookings: 13 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. Emailed reports and their delivery records: 12 months. Anonymous usage events: 14 months.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or the EEA you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.

Ask us at privacy@amaris.com. We answer within 30 days.

Where it is stored

Form submissions and usage events are stored in a managed Supabase (PostgreSQL) database. Report emails are delivered by Resend. Both are processors acting on our instructions.

What is stored in your browser

This site sets no cookies. It does keep a few values in your browser's own storage — a per-tab id for the anonymous usage events above, and your theme and language choices — and every one of them is listed, with its purpose and lifetime, in the cookie and local storage policy.

That page also carries a switch that turns the usage measurement off for your browser, and we honour Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track without being asked.

Transfers outside the UK and the EEA

Our processors are named above. Where any of them stores or accesses personal data outside the UK or the EEA, that transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the UK Addendum where UK data is involved.

If you want to know which region your own enquiry is stored in, or to see the current list of processors and the safeguards for each, ask at privacy@amaris.com and we will tell you.

No automated decisions

Nothing here decides anything about you automatically. Enquiries are read by a person. The calculators score vendors, not visitors, and produce no profile of you — there is no automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.
